Ecological data search

NEYEDC usually charges for a data search. See Procedures for details. The data search procedure is as follows:

download the data request form and user licence. Check that the conditions set out in the user licence are acceptable.
fill out the data request form and either send, fax or e-mail it back to NEYEDC, with purchase order number if required (for contact details go to the Contact page).
most data searches are completed in 1 hour. If it is likely to take longer than this NEYEDC will contact the data requester to check that the estimated number of hours is acceptable.
NEYEDC will carry out the data search and send the results in paper form with an invoice to the data requester. It is not normally possible for us to provide data electronically.

Metadata is summary information about data or datasets. NEYEDC holds datasets from various sources, which include information on a wide range of species and habitats. To see the details download the metadata table.
