Seasearch is a national project, coordinated by the Marine Conservation Society, that allows recreational divers to contribute to our understanding of the marine environment by collecting data about marine habitats and marine life.

Seasearch provides training on underwater survey techniques and organises Seasearch dives and surveys, however, Seasearch works on the principle that "any dive can be a Seasearch dive". The information collected by Seasearch divers helps everybody responsible for marine conservation to identify what's special about different areas, what's going on that may be affecting them and to come up with appropriate strategies for their protection.

Seasearch is coordinated in Yorkshire by NEYEDC.
